“There have been talks of cleaning the Congress by several leaders, but can the party be clean till the Gandhi family, the source of all ills, is still there?” he asked.
“The source has to be corrected. The day Congress removes the members of the Gandhi family from the party, maybe then some sanity will return,” he added.
Sarma claimed that from the chicken’s neck that connects the Northeast with the rest of India to the Indus Water Treaty — the Gandhi family is responsible for a “lot of ills in the country”.
“The party will be rejuvenated only when the source is corrected with the removal of the Gandhi family, or else no one can clean the Congress,” he claimed. PTI DG DG SOM
