In an interview with Moneycontrol, Asit Kumarr Modi directly addressed the viral reports, stating:
“As you know, social media these days has become so negative that you should try to keep a positive mindset. And Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah is a completely positive show. It’s a family show that spreads happiness… It’s not right to spread rumours about small things or say anything inappropriate.”
He emphasized that both Dilip Joshi and Munmun Dutta are still part of the team, and their recent absences were due to personal reasons, not professional fallout.

To further dispel the rumours, Munmun Dutta posted a video on Instagram, showing herself on the TMKOC set, dressed as Babita ji. The video featured glimpses of the makeup room, behind-the-scenes footage, and a view of Iyer’s house, confirming her active participation in upcoming episodes.
