Thane, Jul 13 (PTI) A man was killed during a dispute between two families living under the Mumbra railway station bridge in Thane district, a police official said on Sunday.The fight on July 11 was triggered by cooking vessels being thrown on top of mattresses, leading to the death of Sachin Pujari (33), who was assaulted with a wooden log, Inspector Anil Shinde of Mumbra police station said.
“He died in Chhatrapati Shivaji Hospital in Kalwa. We registered a murder case on the complaint of his wife. A team led by assistant inspector Vinayak Mane arrested Rahul Shinde (28) and Sitaram Jadhav (30). Further probe is underway,” the official said. PTI COR BNM
