Tajikistani singer and social media sensation Abdu Rozik, widely known for his appearance on Bigg Boss 16, was briefly detained at Dubai International Airport early Saturday morning, triggering widespread speculation and confusion online. Initial reports suggested an arrest on alleged theft charges, but his management team quickly dismissed those claims, confirming he was only detained and has since been released.

What Happened at Dubai Airport?

According to Rozik’s team, the 21-year-old entertainer was stopped by airport authorities around 5 a.m. on arrival from Montenegro. A statement from his management, S-Line Project, confirmed that Rozik cooperated with the officials, gave his explanation, and was released soon after.

“He is not arrested, he was only detained by the police. Abdu Rozik gave his explanations and was released,” the statement read.

Misreporting and Official Clarifications

While some media outlets initially reported an “arrest,” Rozik’s team denied any wrongdoing and criticized the spread of misinformation. They warned of legal action to protect his image, adding that “media reports are incorrect” and more details would be shared soon.

“Believe us, we have a lot to say regarding this issue,” the team stated, hinting at undisclosed aspects of the incident.

Shortly after the detention episode, Abdu posted a video on social media, seen attending an event in Dubai, further confirming that he was not held for long.
