“Absolutely Not Playing Vanraj Shah,” Says Ronit
Speaking to India Forums, Ronit Roy clarified that he is not taking over the role of Vanraj Shah. His direct quote:
“I don’t know where these rumours come from, but there’s no truth to it. I am not playing Vanraj in Anupamaa.”
This statement aligns with a similar confirmation published by Mid-Day, which reported that Roy was never approached to replace Sudhanshu Pandey.
Sudhanshu Pandey Confirms His Exit
Actor Sudhanshu Pandey, who brought Vanraj Shah to life since the show’s debut in July 2020, has officially confirmed his departure. In a statement to Screen, Pandey said:
“Yes, I am no longer part of Anupamaa. I was fortunate to be a part of a show that ruled the hearts of audiences.”
The actor also appeared recently on the reality show The Traitors, further hinting at a new chapter in his career.
