At the centre of the story is the Kataria family, comprising:
- Sanjay Kataria (played by Rajesh Tailang) – a quiet, hardworking father navigating financial burdens and personal grief.
- Sushma Kataria (played by Sheeba Chaddha) – a strong yet tender mother holding the family together.
- Naina Kataria (Tanya Sharma) – a 21-year-old daughter balancing ambition and personal space.
