Guwahati, Aug 11 (PTI) Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma on Monday said police have arrested a suspected peddler and seized drugs worth Rs 2.5 crore in Cachar district.
The arrest and recovery were made during an operation based on intelligence inputs, he said.
“No ESCAPE for the Poison Peddlers! Acting on credible intel, @cacharpolice intercepted a vehicle and seized 362 kgs of cannabis worth Rs 2.5 crore,” Sarma said in a post on X on Sunday. PTI SSG SSG MNB
