0% Dialogue, 100% Chaos: Ufff Yeh Siyapaa Trailer Promises a Silent Whirl of Dark Comedy

The makers of Ufff Yeh Siyapaa have turned up the volume, literally, on their dialogue-free dark comedy. Released on August 25, 2025, the trailer teases “0% dialogues.” 100% chaos,” offering an uproarious chain of visually driven misadventures.

Plot Premise: A Misunderstanding Sparks Mayhem

At the heart of the mayhem is Kesari Lal Singh (Sohum Shah), a meek everyman accused of flirting with his neighbour, Kamini (Nora Fatehi), by his estranged wife, Pushpa (Nushrratt Bharuccha). As Kesari scrambles to set things right, things go south fast, beginning with a wrongly delivered drug package, followed by a dead body appearing in his home. When another corpse shows up and Inspector Hasmukh (Omkar Kapoor) arrives with his own agenda, the scene turns into a full-blown comedic crime fest, without a single spoken line.

A Nod to Silent Slapstick Traditions

The trailer’s visual storytelling and slapstick energy evoke echoes of Kamal Haasan’s Pushpak, a revered dialogue-free black comedy, and the unpredictable antics of Tom and Jerry. A rhythm of carefully timed physical comedy, exaggerated expressions, and cleverly staged chaos crafts the humour here.

Behind the Scenes: Creative Forces at Work

Directed and written by G. Ashok, Ufff Yeh Siyapaa is a distinctive experiment in visual narrative. Speaking about the film, Ashok describes it as his passion project, drawing from his dance and choreography background to tell a story entirely through expression and movement.

The film is produced by Luv Ranjan and Ankur Garg under the Luv Films banner, with music by A. R. Rahman. Rahman’s evocative score is central to the storytelling, infusing emotion and comedic tempo into every frame. He has remarked on the musical experimentation that went into crafting the “humorous movie.”

Cast and Release Plans

Starring Sohum Shah, Nushrratt Bharuccha, and Nora Fatehi in key roles, Ufff Yeh Siyapaa brings together a cast known for versatility and comic timing. Sharib Hashmi also plays a pivotal role, while Omkar Kapoor portrays the meddlesome Inspector Hasmukh.

Nushrratt Bharuccha’s appearance marks her second release of 2025, following Chhorii 2, and reunites her with Luv Films, her longtime collaborators, having worked on hits like Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety and Pyaar Ka Punchnama 2. Nora Fatehi, too, appears in her third release of the year after Be Happy and the Kannada thriller KD – The Devil.

The film is slated to release theatrically on September 5, 2025, distributed by PVR Inox.

What to Expect: A Visually Bold, Music-Led Comedy

Ufff Yeh Siyapaa challenges conventional Bollywood storytelling, opting for a silent comedic thriller driven solely by visuals and music. With Rahman’s score acting as the emotional and narrative backbone and Ashok’s choreography-inspired direction shaping chaotic visual humour, the movie promises a theatrical experience blending absurdity, suspense, and laughter, without uttering a single word.
