After considerable speculation, actor Vikrant Massey has confirmed that he will headline the much-anticipated film Dostana 2, marking his first venture with Dharma Productions. In a recent interview with Times Now, he revealed that he will be reinventing his screen presence with a notably stronger emphasis on style and glamour.
Massey, who recently won his first National Award, described this as a departure from his familiar “common man” image, stating that audiences will see him dressed in designer outfits and high-end accessories. He added that Dharma head Karan Johar would ensure the styling lived up to the production’s signature flair.
“I’ll be wearing good designer clothes. Karan sir will make sure that I wear those fancy sunglasses,” Massey shared. He also disclosed that portions of the film will be shot in Europe, adding to the project’s scale and visual appeal.

The shelving was attributed to delays brought about by the COVID-19 pandemic and creative differences. With Massey’s entry, the film is now said to be reactivating under a fresh cast.
