Dubai, Apr 28 (AP) Yemen’s Houthi rebels raised the death toll Monday from an alleged US airstrike on a prison holding African migrants to 68 people killed.

The rebels’ Civil Defence organisation separately said 47 others had been wounded in the attack.

The US military did not immediately respond to questions about the Houthis’ allegation they carried out the attack in Saada province.

They had said some 115 prisoners were held at the site. Graphic footage aired by the Houthis’ al-Masirah satellite news channel showed what appeared to be dead bodies and others wounded at the site. (AP) AMS
