The symposiums “Plumbing Entrepreneurship: Towards Viksit Bharat @2047” and “Pink to Blue – Women in Plumbing” highlighted critical themes of youth empowerment, gender inclusivity, and entrepreneurial solutions to water challenges. Discussions emphasized the role of startups, skill development, and mentorship in driving India’s water security agenda. Additionally, the session on “The Role of Water Audits and Reuse in Addressing Urban Water Scarcity” stressed the importance of AI-driven technologies and policy frameworks to optimize water efficiency and reduce waste.
Sh. Gurmit Singh Arora, National President, IPA, reflected on the event’s impact: “Plumbex India 2025 has been a testament to India’s collective resolve to tackle water scarcity. The participation of thousands of stakeholders, from innovators to policymakers, demonstrates our shared vision for a water-secure future. The partnerships and technologies unveiled here will drive actionable change across urban and rural landscapes.” Looking Ahead Building on this year’s success, the IPA announced Plumbex 2026 scheduled to be held in BIEC from 16-18th April 2026, to focus on decentralized water treatment systems, climate resilient water management strategies. The next edition aims to amplify grassroots innovations and global collaborations to address India’s evolving water challenges.
