Alia Bhatt and Shaheen Bhatt are backing Prime Video’s upcoming original movie Don’t Be Shy, a coming-of-age romantic comedy produced under their banner Eternal Sunshine Productions.
What the film is about
Written and directed by Sreeti Mukerji, the film follows Shyamili ‘Shy’ Das, a 20-year-old who believes she has life perfectly planned—until an unexpected turn sends everything spiralling beyond her control.
Team and music
Along with Alia and Shaheen, Grishma Shah and Vikesh Bhutani are on board as co-producers. The music is composed by Ram Sampath.
What’s next
Prime Video unveiled the project via an announcement video featuring the Bhatt sisters discussing their script selection process, positioning the film as a warm, youth-forward story rooted in friendship, love and growing up.
