Malla Reddy Group of Institutions (MRGI) hosted what it described as the country’s largest university-led Mahashivaratri celebration across its campuses, including Malla Reddy University, Malla Reddy Vishwavidyapeeth, and MR University.
Around 30,000 students and 10,000 faculty members, along with parents and families, participated in the event, observing the night with Bhakti, Abhishek, and Jagran.
Singer Karthik led a devotional session, while the Street Jammers band performed during the night-long celebrations.
Dr. Ch. Bhadra Reddy, President of Malla Reddy Group, and Vice-Chairman Dr. Ch. Preeti Reddy termed the event a unique and spiritually significant gathering.
The celebrations continued until the early hours of the following morning.
