Vijay Deverakonda–Rashmika Mandanna Plan “No-Phone” Wedding, Month-Long Break After Udaipur Ceremony: Report

Rashmika Mandanna and Vijay Deverakonda

Actors Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika Mandanna are reportedly planning a tightly private wedding in Udaipur, followed by a month-long break away from work commitments. According to a report citing sources close to the couple, the duo has also decided on a strict no-phone policy at the ceremony to prevent leaks.

What the report claims

As per India Today’s report, the wedding is expected to be an intimate affair with festivities beginning on February 24 and the main ceremony on February 26 in Udaipur. The same report says guests won’t be allowed to carry phones, and even the team documenting the wedding has reportedly signed NDAs.

The report further claims that both Vijay and Rashmika have taken a month off after the wedding, carving out time away from schedules and public commitments.

Reception in Hyderabad (as per viral invite reports)

Separately, multiple outlets have reported that an invitation card circulating online mentions a March 4 reception in Hyderabad (reported venue: Taj Krishna, Banjara Hills). However, NDTV notes that the card remains unverified, and neither actor has officially confirmed its authenticity.

No official confirmation yet

As of now, the wedding details are still based on reports and anonymous sources. NDTV also cited Rashmika’s comment to The Hollywood Reporter that she would not confirm or deny marriage rumours, adding that she’d speak when there’s something to announce.

Why the “no-phone + break” angle stands out

If accurate, the approach signals a clear attempt to protect privacy—first through a controlled, no-phone ceremony, and then via a post-wedding pause away from professional noise. For fans, it’s also a rare celebrity move that prioritises time off and boundaries over constant visibility.
