Babil Khan has taken a bold step toward physical transformation and discipline. The young actor, son of the late Irrfan Khan, has flown to Thailand to begin an intensive Muay Thai training camp, sharing glimpses of his journey on social media on February 18, 2026. In a series of Instagram Stories and Reels, Babil posted videos and photos from a professional Muay Thai gym in Bangkok (believed to be one of the renowned camps like Tiger Muay Thai or Fairtex). The clips show him wrapped in hand tape, shadowboxing, practicing knee strikes on pads, and sparring lightly under the guidance of experienced Thai trainers. Sweat-soaked and focused, Babil captioned one post simply:

“Day 1. No excuses. Just work. #MuayThai”

Why Muay Thai?

Sources close to Babil say the decision is both personal and professional. After a string of emotionally intense roles (including his acclaimed performance in Qala and the upcoming Pippa), he wanted to build physical strength, mental toughness and discipline. Muay Thai—known as the “art of eight limbs” for its use of fists, elbows, knees and shins—is one of the most demanding combat sports, offering full-body conditioning, explosive power and razor-sharp focus.

Fans React with Support

The posts have quickly gone viral among fans, who are thrilled to see Babil pushing himself physically:

  1. “From intense acting to intense training—Babil is levelling up ”
  2. “Muay Thai Babil era incoming Can’t wait to see him in action roles”
  3. “Irrfan sir’s son is built different. Respect!”

Several industry friends, including co-stars and fitness enthusiasts, dropped encouraging comments and fire emojis.

What’s Next?

Babil is expected to train in Thailand for at least 4–6 weeks, combining Muay Thai sessions with strength conditioning, mobility work and recovery routines. He has not revealed whether this is tied to a specific upcoming project, but the transformation is already generating early buzz for his next screen appearance. From emotional depth on screen to raw physical power in the ring, Babil Khan continues to evolve—one punch, knee and elbow at a time.
