Kannada film star Kichcha Sudeep is reportedly set to reunite with director S. S. Rajamouli in the upcoming Indian blockbuster Varanasi, according to industry sources. If confirmed, this marks another collaboration between the duo after their work together on Eega and Baahubali: The Beginning, films that significantly bolstered Sudeep’s pan-India recognition.
Though no official announcement has been made by the film’s makers, multiple trade insiders suggest that Sudeep may play an important character, extending beyond a typical cameo. During recent promotions for his release Mark, Sudeep had emphasized that any brief appearance he makes must be meaningful and pivotal to the story – comments that have fuelled speculation about his role in Varanasi.
