Television actor Ridhima Pandit has attended to the rumours linking her to Indian cricketer Shubman Gill. Speculation about the two being in a relationship has been circulating on social media for quite some time. Some reports even suggested that the duo were planning a secret wedding in Jaipur in December 2024. However, the actor has now firmly dismissed these claims and clarified that there is no truth to the gossip.
The rumours gained traction online over the past few years, leading to widespread curiosity among fans and media. Pandit, however, has maintained that the claims are baseless and not connected to reality.
“There’s Nothing Like That,” Says Ridhima
In a recent interview, Pandit directly addressed the rumours and denied being romantically involved with Gill. She explained that she prefers to stay away from controversies and unnecessary speculation about her personal life.
Calling herself a “non-controversial figure,” the actor said she has always tried to maintain a clean public image. She emphasised that she does not believe in creating drama or romance merely for attention. Pandit also joked about her personality, saying she is actually a “very boring person” and that there is nothing scandalous people can uncover about her.
Her statement has largely put an end to the rumours that had been circulating online.
“He’s Cute, But We Don’t Know Each Other”
Interestingly, this is not the first time Pandit has spoken about the speculation. In an earlier interview, she clarified that she does not even know Gill personally. While she praised the cricketer and described him as “very cute,” she made it clear that there is no romantic connection between them.
According to the actor, if they ever meet in person, they would probably laugh about the rumours that linked them together. She reiterated that liking someone as a public figure does not mean there is a relationship.

Apart from the dating rumours, Pandit recently found herself in another controversy connected to the reality show The 50. A conflict involving a content creator reportedly escalated on social media, which led to the actor receiving online abuse and threats. Following the incident, she took legal action against the individual involved.

Despite the rumours and controversies, Pandit continues to focus on her career in television. She is widely known for her role in the popular series Bahu Hamari Rajni Kant and has also appeared in Naagin 5. Over the years, she has built a reputation for her performances and has participated in reality shows like Khatron Ke Khiladi 9.
With her recent clarification, Pandit hopes to put the speculation to rest and shift the attention back to her professional work rather than rumours about her personal life.
