Flipperachi’s India Gigs Called Off Days Before Shows Due to Middle East Tensions

Rapper Flipperachi

Bahraini rapper Flipperachi, who gained a major fan following in India after his track “FA9LA” featured in Dhurandhar, will no longer perform at his scheduled India events this week. Reports on March 11 said his appearance at the UN40 Music & Beyond Festival in Bengaluru had been called off, and his planned Mumbai performance was also listed as cancelled.

Shows Called Off Over Travel Disruption

According to an official update shared on Instagram by Saregama India, Flipperachi will not be able to perform at UN40 this weekend because of the “current situation in the Middle East and Bahrain.” The Bengaluru festival is scheduled for March 14–15 at NICE Grounds, and organisers said the event itself will continue with the rest of the announced lineup.

A separate Mumbai show at Phoenix Marketcity, earlier scheduled for March 13, was also marked as cancelled on event listings. However, reports noted that no separate public statement had been issued specifically for the Mumbai event.

How “FA9LA” Built His India Following

Flipperachi’s rise in India gathered pace after “FA9LA” was used in Dhurandhar, especially during Akshaye Khanna’s entry sequence, helping the track spread widely across reels, fan edits, and music platforms. In earlier interviews, the rapper said the response from Indian listeners had been overwhelming, with social media attention surging after the film.

His profile grew further in early 2026 when FA9LA was reported to have entered Guinness World Records after topping multiple Billboard Arabia charts, giving the artist even more visibility ahead of his planned India appearances.

No New Dates Yet

For now, there is no confirmed rescheduled date for either the Bengaluru or Mumbai performance. The cancellations are a setback for fans who were set to watch Flipperachi perform live in India for the first time, but the artist’s breakout popularity here remains intact thanks to the continued buzz around “FA9LA.”
