In a vulnerable video posted on Instagram, Anurag expressed fears that he may never walk again due to complete numbness in one leg caused by nerve damage. The accident occurred on March 7, 2026, when Anurag crashed his SUV into a divider on the Delhi-Meerut Expressway while live on Instagram. The livestream, watched by thousands, captured the distressing moment before the impact.

Multiple Surgeries and Ongoing Struggle

Anurag underwent several surgeries, including a hip operation, after suffering injuries such as a concussion, fractured ribs, a tailbone injury, and a hairline fracture in his right foot. He was initially admitted to the ICU at Subharti Hospital in Meerut before being shifted for further treatment. Now recovering at a friend’s farmhouse, Anurag shared a video of his physiotherapy sessions. In the emotional clip, he revealed his stitches and said, “One of my legs is totally numb; I cannot move it. The hip above it underwent surgery, because of which the nerves of the leg seem to be damaged. I don’t know how I will recover.” He further wrote in the caption: “Zindagi Mai Shyd Fir Kabhi Chal Payuga Ya Nahi” (Will I ever be able to walk again in life or not?).
