Puducherry, April 1 (PTI) Prime Minister Narendra Modi is scheduled to arrive in Puducherry on April 3 to hold a road show, aiming to galvanise support for the NDA candidates ahead of the upcoming Assembly polls.
A spokesperson of the Puducherry BJP, a constituent of the AINRC-led NDA, said the Prime Minister would take part in the 2-km long road show, beginning from the Ajanta signal here to Anna square in Odian Salai.
Modi is expected to land at the airport here from Chennai at 4 pm on April 3. He will drive to Puducherry town from the airport and hold the road show.
The Prime Minister would campaign for the NDA, which includes AINRC, BJP, AIADMK and LJK.
Elaborate security arrangements are being made along the S V Patel Salai and Anna Salai stretch.
Personnel from the Police, Electricity, Local Administration, and PWD are on-site managing logistics, officials said. PTI COR ROH
