Television actor Mahhi Vij has addressed the online chatter surrounding her separation from Jay Bhanushali through a YouTube vlog shared this week. The video comes days after the couple released a joint statement confirming that they have decided to part ways mutually, stressing that “there is no villain” and that they chose “peace over drama.”
“Enough is enough”: Mahhi draws boundaries
In the vlog, Mahhi responds to the hate and speculation that followed months of rumours about trouble in their marriage. She reiterates that the decision was taken amicably and underscores that both she and Jay intend to maintain stability for their children.
Co-parenting remains the focus
Mahhi also pushes back on commentary questioning their parenting and finances, stating that their children will continue to live the way they did earlier and that responsibility will be shared. The couple share daughter Tara and have also fostered Khushi and Rajveer.
Rumour mill and online claims
Reports note that Mahhi had previously dismissed alimony-related speculation in a vlog, urging people not to treat personal decisions as public property. In the latest video too, her message remains consistent: reduce the noise, respect boundaries, and allow the family space to move forward.
