Armaan Malik Opposes Brother Amaal Malik’s Bigg Boss 19 Entry: “Boarding School Samajh Ke Wapas Aajao”

Amaal Malik and Armaan Malik

Singer Armaan Malik has spoken openly about his disapproval of his brother Amaal Malik’s decision to join Bigg Boss 19. While the show has just begun, Amaal’s presence has already created ripples both inside and outside the house. But his younger brother Armaan isn’t too thrilled about the move.

During a Q&A session on X (formerly Twitter), a fan asked Armaan about Amaal’s entry. The singer didn’t mince words:

“Obviously was never for it, but ab Amaal bhai sahab ko kaun samjhaye. Anyway, boarding school samajhke kuch masti karke aajaye wapas. Bahut gaane pending hai.”

The witty yet sharp remark instantly caught attention—Armaan clearly hinted that reality TV wasn’t his brother’s place and reminded fans that the Malik brothers have unfinished songs waiting to be completed.

Amaal’s Turbulent Journey Before Bigg Boss

This isn’t Amaal’s first brush with headlines. Earlier in March 2025, the music director shocked fans with a note about battling clinical depression. In that post (later deleted), he admitted feeling emotionally and financially drained and even suggested distancing himself from his family, except for professional ties.

In a subsequent interview with Siddharth Kannan, Amaal explained how constant comparisons—both within and outside the family—eroded his self-worth.

“In any relationship, if you are compared, it’s like you are less,” he said, a statement that revealed how deep the scars of constant evaluation ran.

Salman Khan’s Cautionary Advice

Even Salman Khan appeared skeptical about Amaal’s participation. During the grand premiere of Bigg Boss 19, the superstar admitted he was surprised by Amaal’s decision, given his outspoken nature and history of controversial tweets. Salman advised him to stay mindful of his words inside the house—an early warning that Bigg Boss isn’t forgiving to those who speak without filters.

Gossip, Criticism, and Reality Check

  1. Bigg Boss 19 has opened to an average start, but Amaal’s entry is undoubtedly a highlight.
  2. Armaan’s frank opposition reflects the often-unseen sibling tensions in the entertainment industry.
  3. Amaal’s mental health struggles add another layer of intrigue—will Bigg Boss help him rebuild or break him further?

Beyond the Show

For now, fans are divided—some support Amaal’s decision to show his “real self,” while others side with Armaan, believing the musician’s talent belongs in studios, not in the Bigg Boss house.

One thing is clear: whether Amaal survives weeks in the controversial house or exits early, his stint has already given gossip mills enough fuel. And Armaan? He just wants his brother back in the studio, finishing those “pending songs.”

Bigg Boss 19 streams daily on JioCinema at 9 pm and airs on Colors TV at 10:30 pm.
