Actor Govinda has publicly addressed the speculation around his marriage to Sunita Ahuja, calling the online chatter a “big conspiracy” and claiming even people close to him may be getting “used” without realising it.
What triggered the fresh round of headlines
The latest spike in discussion followed Sunita Ahuja’s recent comments on long-running rumours of Govinda’s alleged affairs. In interviews and podcast-related coverage, she said she would not forgive him if cheating were ever confirmed, while also stressing that rumours disturb family peace.
Govinda’s “conspiracy” claim
Govinda said he decided to respond now because staying silent can make a person appear “weak” or be seen as the problem. He added that he had been told some family members might be unknowingly involved at an early stage of what he described as a conspiracy.
In the same remarks, Govinda also suggested that Sunita herself may have been “unknowingly placed” into the situation, using a cricket analogy that she had been thrown in as the “opening batsman.”
Where things stand
Govinda’s comments do not confirm any separation. Instead, he frames the public noise around the couple as driven by misinformation and asks people not to form conclusions based on viral claims.
