Kolhapur, Aug 25 (PTI) Congress leader and former member of the Kolhapur Zilla Parishad Rahul Patil joined Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar-led NCP on Monday.
Patil, son of late Congress MLA PN Patil, had unsuccessfully contested the 2024 assembly election from the Karvir constituency in Kolhapur against Shiv Sena’s Chandradeep Narake.
Pawar, who inducted Patil into the fold, described him as a promising leader who will help the NCP to grow in Kolhapur district. PTI MR ARU
