DJ Snake Calls Off Sunburn Arena India Tour After Health Setback

DJ Snake

French EDM superstar DJ Snake has cancelled his much-awaited India tour, citing a health issue that requires urgent medical attention and rest. The announcement came via his social media statement on Monday, January 26, 2026, leaving Indian fans stunned just weeks before the tour’s kick-off.

What DJ Snake Said

In his note to fans, DJ Snake said he has been battling a health issue and will need surgery in early February, followed by about a month of complete recovery—making it unsafe to perform at full-intensity right now. He called the decision “incredibly hard” and signed off with his name, William.

The India Tour That’s Now Off

The cancelled run was planned as a six-city Sunburn Arena tour across February 2026, scheduled to begin in Kolkata (Feb 6) and wrap in Delhi-NCR (Feb 15), with stops in Hyderabad, Bengaluru, Pune, and Mumbai in between.

Ticketing: What Fans Should Do Now

With event pages showing the shows as closed, ticket holders should monitor official updates from the ticketing platform/organisers via purchase history and customer support. (Policies can differ between cancellation vs rescheduling, and between ticket categories.)

Fan Support Rolls In

The cancellation triggered a wave of support online. Singer Armaan Malik also reacted publicly, echoing the “health first” sentiment around the demanding realities of live performance.

A Healing Horizon Awaits

For now, the India tour is called off—but DJ Snake’s message makes one thing clear: recovery comes first, and the return is the only headline that matters next.
