Spanish actor Enrique Arce, best known globally for playing Arturo Román in Money Heist (La Casa de Papel), has said he wants to explore Indian cinema more deeply. During his first trip to India, Arce revealed that the one Hindi film he is most intrigued by is Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara.
Why Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara Interests Him
Arce said the film especially fascinates him because of its connection to Spain. He pointed out that elements shown in the film, including La Tomatina, are linked to the region he comes from, and added that the movie had a visible cultural and tourism impact.
Interest in Bollywood Stars
Along with Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara, Arce said he wants to watch films featuring Shah Rukh Khan, Anil Kapoor and Aamir Khan. He also said he now wants to make sure he watches not just Bollywood films, but also Indian cinema across languages, including independent films.
His First India Visit
Arce is currently on his first visit to India and said he has been surprised by the love Indian fans continue to show him for Money Heist. He was in the country as a special guest at the recently concluded 1st International Film Festival Delhi.
Open to Working in India
Speaking about his India experience, Arce said he would like to come back again and added that if he is offered work here, he would say yes without thinking twice. He also shared that he visited Yash Raj Films Studio in Mumbai during the trip.
