National Award-winning filmmaker Madhur Bhandarkar has wrapped principal photography for his next film The Wives, with the project now heading into post-production.

Bhandarkar has described The Wives as a story that looks past the glamour to the personal lives “often overshadowed by fame,” focusing on relationships, ambition, insecurity, and emotional survival in an image-driven world.
Bhandarkar’s ‘Page 3 on Steroids’ Tease
In recent interviews, the director has summed up the film as “Page 3 on steroids”, adding that the industry can be “a little apprehensive” about what his lens might reveal.
Ensemble Cast
The film features Sonali Kulkarni, Mouni Roy, Regina Cassandra, Rahul Bhatt, Saurabh Sachdeva, Arjan Bajwa, and Freddy Daruwala.
Production Banner and Collaboration
The Wives is backed by Bhandarkar Entertainment and PJ Motion Pictures, reuniting Bhandarkar with producer Pranav Jain after India Lockdown.
