Mumbai, Jan 28 (PTI): Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar and five other persons were reported killed on Wednesday morning after an aircraft carrying them crashed in Pune district, officials said.
According to the information available so far, the incident took place while the plane carrying NCP leader Pawar (66) and others was landing in the Baramati area of Pune district. Officials said emergency response teams were rushed to the spot soon after the crash, while further details regarding the circumstances leading to the accident are awaited.
