Of the new cases, five were detected in Mumbai and 1 in Nagpur, an official statement said.
No death linked to the viral infection has been reported since Saturday.
The health department said it has conducted 33,556 COVID-19 tests across the state since January 1. As many as 2,483 patients have recovered from the disease so far this year.
Mumbai has reported 1,017 cases, including 551 in June and 25 in July so far, it added. PTI SM RSY
