Nikki Glaser to Host Golden Globes 2027, Marks Third Consecutive Stint

Nikki Glaser

Comedian Nikki Glaser is returning to host the Golden Globe Awards for a third consecutive year, joining a select group of repeat hosts in the ceremony’s history. CBS and the Golden Globes organization announced on March 11, 2026, that Glaser will emcee the 84th Annual Golden Globes, set for Sunday, January 10, 2027. The ceremony will air live on CBS and stream on Paramount+ in the U.S. Glaser made history in 2025 as the first woman to solo host the Globes, earning widespread acclaim for her sharp, boundary-pushing monologue and effortless command of the room.

Hilarious Reason for the Three-Peat

In her signature witty style, Glaser shared her excitement in the official statement: “I’m thrilled to host the Golden Globes for a third time, not only because it’s the greatest gig I’ve ever had, but also because my sister has three kids and now we will be equal in the eyes of my parents and the Lord.” The quip perfectly captures her irreverent humor that has resonated so well with audiences. Golden Globes president Helen Hoehne added: “We are thrilled to welcome Nikki back to the Golden Globes stage in 2027. Her comedic precision, authenticity, and ability to command the room are unmatched, and we can’t wait to see what she has up her sleeve for next year’s show.”

A Historic Run

Glaser joins an elite group with three consecutive hosting gigs, following Ricky Gervais (2010–2012) and Tina Fey & Amy Poehler (2013–2015). Her streak marks a bold new era for the Globes, blending sharp satire with broad appeal after years of rotating hosts. As the first major awards show of the season, the 2027 Globes promise another night of glamour, surprises, and Glaser’s unfiltered takes—proving once again why she’s become the go-to voice for Hollywood’s biggest night.
