Chandigarh, Apr 2 (PTI) The Punjab and Haryana High Court on Thursday received a bomb threat e-mail, with officials saying nothing suspicious was found, police said.

After receiving information, police, fire brigade officials, a bomb squad, a dog squad and an ambulance were rushed to the high court complex to conduct an anti-sabotage check, they said.

The email came a day after an explosion occurred outside the Punjab BJP office in Sector 37 on Wednesday, when a suspected small crude-type explosive device was hurled.

No casualties were reported in the blast.

Earlier, similar bomb threats were also received by the Punjab Civil Secretariat, the Passport office in Chandigarh and various schools in Amritsar, Jalandhar, Patiala in Punjab and Haryana.
