Popular podcaster and content creator Ranveer Allahbadia (BeerBiceps) has opened up about the tough phase following the India’s Got Lalent controversy, revealing how industry heavyweights like John Abraham and Sonu Nigam personally reached out to support him during the backlash. The row erupted after a viral clip from comedian Samay Raina’s YouTube show India’s Got Latent, where Ranveer’s remarks—perceived as crass and inappropriate—sparked widespread outrage.

Farah Khan’s Advice: “Never Waste a Good Failure”

The episode led to intense public criticism, legal scrutiny, Supreme Court proceedings, and a temporary halt to his podcast shoots, leaving him grappling with uncertainty and “so much hate.” In a recent vlog with filmmaker Farah Khan (shared on her channel around February 23, 2026), Ranveer reflected on the low point, often calling it the “kaand” (incident). Farah offered sage advice: “Never waste a good failure; always work from it. Put your head down and work.” Ranveer responded by sharing how similar encouragement came from unexpected quarters.“

John Abraham, sir, called me and said the same thing. He had called specially. He told me to handle myself and told me that this is normal in the media,” Ranveer revealed. He added that legendary singer Sonu Nigam also checked in, along with cricketers Hardik Pandya, KL Rahul, and Yuzvendra Chahal.

Lessons from the Setback

Ranveer emphasized turning the controversy into growth, crediting the support from these stars for helping him stay focused. The episode underscores the value of industry solidarity in navigating media storms and public scrutiny. Fans have praised Ranveer’s honesty, with many appreciating the glimpse into how even high-profile figures face challenges. As he resumes content creation, the incident serves as a reminder of the importance of perspective and perseverance in the digital age.
