Thane, Mar 16 (PTI) An empty school van was gutted in a fire in the parking area of a private school in Thane district on Monday, officials said, adding that nobody was injured in the incident.
The school is located on the Diva-Agasan Road.
After receiving information about a blaze, firefighters rushed to the spot with a rescue vehicle. The blaze was brought under control and completely extinguished at 5:45 PM, an official said.
No one was injured in the incident as the vehicle was unoccupied at the time of the incident, he added.
The cause of the fire is being investigated. PTI COR NSK
