Prime Video has unveiled the official teaser of Subedaar, headlined by Anil Kapoor in a rugged new avatar as Subedaar Arjun Maurya—a man built by discipline and sacrifice, now forced to fight a different kind of battle outside the uniform.
What the Film Is About
Set in the Indian heartland, Subedaar follows Maurya, a retired soldier struggling to adjust to civilian life as he confronts crime and corruption—while also grappling with a strained father–daughter relationship that anchors the emotional core of the narrative.
Cast and Crew
Directed by Suresh Triveni (Tumhari Sulu, Jalsa), the action-drama pairs Kapoor with Radhikka Madan in the lead, supported by Saurabh Shukla, Aditya Rawal, Faisal Malik and Mona Singh.
The screenplay is written by Triveni and Prajwal Chandrashekar, and the film is produced by Vikram Malhotra, Anil Kapoor and Suresh Triveni under Opening Image Films, in association with Anil Kapoor Film & Communication Network (AKFCN) and Abundantia Entertainment.

Subedaar will stream worldwide from March 5, 2026, in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu, across India and 240+ countries and territories.
What’s Next for Anil Kapoor
Kapoor also headlines Netflix’s upcoming corporate drama series Family Business (created by Hansal Mehta and Niren Bhatt) alongside Vijay Varma.
On the theatrical front, he is part of Shah Rukh Khan’s King, which is being positioned for a Christmas 2026 release.
