The Devil Wears Prada 2 trailer released: Fashion, feuds and a reunion two decades later

The Devil Wears Prada 2

The official trailer for the long-awaited sequel has been released, with the drop dated Feb 1, 2026 (US) across several outlets and carried as Feb 2, 2026 in others due to international publishing time.

What the trailer shows

Meryl Streep returns as Miranda Priestly, who is shown struggling to recognise Andy when she reappears at Runway—this time as the magazine’s Features Editor.

Emily Blunt’s Emily, now a powerful executive at a luxury group, throws shade at Andy in a line already going viral: “You’ve changed… You’re much more confident. You kept those eyebrows, though, didn’t you?”

Returning cast and creators

The sequel brings back Anne Hathaway and Stanley Tucci, and reunites the original creative team: director David Frankel and writer Aline Brosh McKenna.

New cast additions

Kenneth Branagh, Simone Ashley, Lucy Liu, Justin Theroux, B. J. Novak and Pauline Chalamet join the ensemble, as confirmed by the studio.

Release date

The film is set for a May 1, 2026 theatrical release (studio-confirmed), with Indian listings also reflecting the same date.
