The wait is finally over for fans of the beloved 2006 cult comedy Khosla Ka Ghosla—the Khosla family is officially back! Producers T-Series and Tandav Films announced on March 12, 2026, that the much-anticipated sequel, Khosla Ka Ghosla 2, will hit theatres on August 28, 2026, perfectly timed for Raksha Bandhan.
A Nostalgic Comeback
Nearly two decades after the original film’s release, which became a timeless hit for its relatable middle-class struggles, sharp humour, and iconic performances, the sequel promises to reunite the core ensemble. Anupam Kher reprises his role as the determined Kamal Kishore Khosla, while Boman Irani returns as the scheming property broker Kishan Khurana. Ranvir Shorey is back as the quirky Cherry, Parvin Dabas as Chirag Khosla, and other familiar faces are expected to join the fun. Directed by Prashant Bhagia, the film is produced under T-Series Films and Tandav Films, building on the legacy of Jaideep Sahni’s original screenplay that won a National Film Award.
