Imphal, Mar 2 (PTI) Security forces have arrested three militants belonging to different proscribed outfits in Imphal East and West, and Thoubal districts of Manipur, a police statement said on Monday.
An active cadre of PREPAK was apprehended on Sunday in Phaknung Awang Leikai in Imphal East district, it said.
Another insurgent of PREPAK (PRO) was arrested from his residence at Wangoi Khaidem Leikai in Imphal West district on Saturday. A 9 mm pistol, along with a magazine and four cartridges were seized from his possession.
A militant belonging to the KYKL outfit was also arrested from Yairipok Lamkhai area in Thoubal on Saturday, the statement added. PTI COR ACD
