US, UK expected to announce trade deal that US President Trump says will cement their relationship

Washington, May 8 (AP) US President Donald Trump said Thursday that a new US-UK trade deal is a “full and comprehensive one that will cement the relationship between the United States and the United Kingdom for many years to come.” It’s due to be announced at 10 am EDT (1400 GMT).

It is the first bilateral trade deal announced since Trump began slapping tariffs on US trading partners. He said: “Many other deals, which are in serious stages of negotiation, to follow!” (AP) NPK NPK
